BiographyRik is a professional actor, member of the Screen Actors Guild, currently touring with Open Door Theatre. Rik has appeared on television in NORTHERN EXPOSURE (CBS), PANDORA'S CLOCK(NBC), JUST US (PBS) & THE FUGITIVE (CBS) as well as regional and national commercials. Feature films include PREFONTAINE, HIGHWAY, DEMON DOLLS, The MIDNIGHT CHRONICLES, REAR-VIEW MIRROR and the upcoming MUFFLED BY PASTRY. Short Films include NICE PEOPLE, ELLIPSIS, BEHIND THE CRIME (Teen Screen Winner at the 27th Annual Atlanta Film Festival), SPICY, GOTHAM FRIENDS & FOREVER MINE. As a Director, Rik has directed the student film THE LITTLE DEATH and as a Producer, wrote the screenplays and produced the animated shorts: WATER ANGEL & HOW TO BREAK UP SUCCESSFULLY: A DO-IT YOURSELF GUIDE. Rik has also worked in other capacities as a Script Supervisor on the 6 SHORT FILMS PROJECT and a Production Assistant on SOMEONE SPECIAL. Onstage, Rik has acted,directed, stage-managed or worked backstage on over 80 productions in upstate NY, Houston, Minneapolis, Virginia Beach, Monterey, CA and Seattle. Rik is the Artistic Director of Green Theatre Productions and Stage Manager of Open Door Theatre.
