BiographyTy Hubert Detmer (born October 30, 1967 in San Marcos, Texas), is a former American football quarterback who starred at Brigham Young University. Detmer is thought to be one of the, if not the, greatest college quarterbacks in modern football history. Though not the most successful, nor the most physically gifted or talented, Detmer made a name for himself with smart decision-making, a humble demeanor, and uncomparable statistics while also winning the Heisman Trophy.
