When it came time to cast a host for Mark Burnett’s new TNT television show, Wedding Day, Alan was the perfect fit. His previous experience as wedding planner on TLC’s For Better or For Worse — where he helped orchestrate spectacular weddings on a shoestring budget — as well as countless guest appearances on television and radio shows as well as his contributions to style, entertaining and food magazines are just part of a stellar career in food and event planning.
Alan Dunn’s journey into the world of event planning began with extensive travels in Asia and Europe, where he gained a passion for exotic cuisines and dining customs. When he returned from abroad, he began a New York event planning and catering company called Fraiche Events. From there he moved to the West Coast, where he became special events/food and beverage director of the Chateau Marmont Hotel, lending his special touch to events for Hollywood’s elite.
